CJ Motorsports currently offers 2 stages of complete fuel systems for the 350z. The difference between the S1 and S2 systems are the flow capabilities of the main feed line.
The S1 system uses the stock fuel pump output fitting and stock hardpipe which are found to be restrictive by as low as 500rwhp and as high as 550rwhp. The S1 kit includes an AN fitting adapter that is used to modify your stock hardpipe to accept a -8AN for the twin rail feed line (#4).
By upgrading the entire feed system (starting directly after the pump) you can reach the highest flow capacity possible from a single in-tank pump. This is the purpose of our S2 system. It includes 3 additional components that replace the factory feed line with high flow components. Depending on the strength of your Walbro 255, this combo will top off between 600 - 650rwhp.
Both kits, featuring our return correction kit, maintain swirl pot and siphon venturi function. This means that your vehicles fuel level gauge will work precisely the same, and you are able to use all the fuel in the tank just as stock. Without this correction kit, your car will not be able to use the last 1/3rd or so fuel in the tank.
Neither system includes a pump or injector upgrade. These systems are fully compatable with factory pump or Walbro GSS342 pumps. This system is compatable with factory injectors, or taller injectors if used with fuel rail spacers (.455" spacers are included with some popular turbo kits, or are available by request). |
